Video Parameters — Resolution, Duration, Model & More

The video parameters panel gives you full control over every video generation. Open it by selecting a video node and clicking the gear icon in the node toolbar.

Basic Settings

Resolution — choose the output size for the generated video:

• 720p (1280×720) — fast generation, good for drafts and thumbnails
• 1080p (1920×1080) — standard quality for web and social
• 4K (3840×2160) — maximum quality, longer generation time

Higher resolutions produce more detail but take longer to render and consume more credits.

Duration — set the video length from 2 to 10 seconds:

• Shorter clips (2–4s) generate faster and work well for social loops
• Longer clips (6–10s) allow more narrative space

Audio — toggle audio generation on or off. When enabled, the model creates ambient sound or voiceover depending on the prompt. Disable audio to save generation time if you plan to add sound in post-production.

Model Variant

Seedance offers several model variants optimized for different use cases:

• Seedance Standard — balanced quality and speed, general purpose
• Seedance HD — higher fidelity, recommended for 4K output
• Seedance Fast — reduced quality but significantly faster, ideal for iteration
• Seedance Anime — tuned for animated and stylized output

The model selector is in the top section of the parameters panel. The active model shows a small badge on the video node for quick reference.

Advanced Settings

Expand the Advanced section to access:

Negative Prompt — describe what you do not want in the video. For example, "blurry, low quality, distorted faces, flickering" helps the model avoid common artifacts.

Motion Strength — control how much movement the model generates:

• Low (1–3) — subtle motion, near-static scenes
• Medium (4–7) — natural movement, good for most use cases
• High (8–10) — dramatic motion, may introduce instability

Style Reference — upload an image to guide the visual style of the generated video. The model tries to match the aesthetic, color palette, and lighting of the reference.

Saving as Preset

Once you have tuned the parameters to your liking, click Save as Preset to reuse the same settings later. Presets appear in the parameters panel dropdown for quick application to other video nodes.

Resetting

Click Reset to Default to restore the factory settings for all parameters. This is useful when switching between entirely different project styles.
