The Multi-View Grid tool generates a 3x3 grid of images showing the same subject or scene from nine different camera angles. It's designed for visual development, storyboarding, and concept exploration.

When to Use Multi-View Grid

  • Storyboarding — establish coverage for a scene before production
  • Character and environment design — see how a subject reads from all angles
  • Client presentations — show multiple composition options at once
  • Animation pre-vis — plan camera moves and cuts

How to Access

Select an image node and click the Multi-View Grid button in the toolbar. The panel presents fields for subject, environment, and shot types.

Input Fields

Subject: Describe the main subject — a character, object, or scene element. Be specific about appearance, pose, and expression.

Environment: Describe the setting. This provides the background context the AI uses when generating each angle. A well-defined environment keeps angles consistent.

Shot Types: Choose from preset shot types that populate the grid:

  • Wide shot, medium shot, close-up
  • Low angle, high angle, eye level
  • Dutch angle, over-the-shoulder, bird's eye
  • You can mix or customize which shots appear in each cell

Understanding the Grid

The grid reads left to right, top to bottom. Each cell represents a unique camera angle. The AI maintains subject consistency across all cells while adjusting perspective per cell.

Tips for Consistency

  • Write detailed subject descriptions — "a woman in a red jacket, standing, looking right"
  • Keep environment descriptions specific but not overly complex
  • Use fewer varied shot types for tighter consistency
  • For character grids, include clothing, lighting, and mood cues
  • If the subject varies too much between cells, refine the subject prompt
