Cinematic Relight

The Cinematic Relight tool applies professional color grading presets to your images with one click. Transform ordinary photos into stylized cinematic frames using color palettes inspired by film and photography.

When to Use Cinematic Relight

• Batch color grading — apply consistent looks across multiple images
• Mood setting — instantly change the emotional tone of a scene
• Film simulations — recreate looks from popular movies and genres
• Social media content — make thumbnails and posts stand out

How to Access

Select an image node and click the Cinematic Relight button in the toolbar. The panel shows a grid of preset color grades with preview thumbnails.

Preset Categories

Blockbuster: High contrast, slightly warm, with deep shadows and vibrant highlights. Modeled after modern action and adventure films.

Noir: Desaturated, high contrast, with crushed blacks and cool shadows. Classic film noir and dark thriller aesthetic.

Teal-Orange: The iconic complementary color scheme. Warm skin tones against teal shadows and backgrounds. Popular in blockbuster cinema.

Vintage: Warm, faded highlights with reduced contrast. Mimics the look of old film stock from the 70s and 80s.

Melancholy: Cool blue tones with lifted blacks and muted saturation. Creates a somber, reflective mood.

Golden Hour: Rich warm tones with golden highlights and soft shadows. Simulates late afternoon sunlight.

Customization

After applying a preset, you can fine-tune:

• Intensity — blend strength from subtle to full effect
• Exposure — overall brightness adjustment
• Warmth — additional color temperature tweaking
• Contrast — shadow and highlight adjustments

Tips

• Start with a well-exposed image for best grading results
• Match the preset to the scene's content and mood
• Use Teal-Orange for outdoor and action scenes
• Use Noir for dramatic, mystery, or urban scenes
• Apply the same preset across a project for visual consistency
