Panorama

The Panorama tool extends the current scene image into a complete panoramic environment of the same location, making it useful for immersive scene development, environment reference, and follow-up camera extraction.

When to Use Panorama

• Immersive scene expansion — turn the current frame into a space you can look around in
• Environment reference — establish scene layout, lighting, and material mood quickly
• Establishing shot development — generate the full space first, then extract specific views
• Further image workflows — reuse the panorama output as input for other image tools

How to Access

There are three ways to create a panorama node:

• Toolbar button — Select an image node, then click the Panorama button in the toolbar. This opens the Panorama tool panel and starts generation automatically from the current scene image.
• Add from handle — Select an image node, click the + button on the right side, and choose Panorama from the menu. This creates a new panorama node connected to the current image node.
• Add from canvas — Click the + button on the canvas to open the add menu and select Panorama. This creates a standalone panorama node with no existing connections.

How It Works

The Panorama tool reads the current image node as input and expands the same location into a continuous surrounding environment across the front, sides, rear, sky, and ground.

The options shown in the tool panel come from the active model configuration, so the visible controls may differ between models.

The Result

The result is created as an interactive panorama node. You can use it as an environment reference, a background plate, or as input for other image tools.

View and Capture

Click View Panorama to enter interactive mode, then drag to look around the scene. Use the Camera button to capture the current view as a new image node on the canvas.

Multi-Angle Capture

The panorama node supports one-click batch capture to extract multiple angles from the panorama at once. Click the 4-View Capture or 12-View Capture button in the toolbar to automatically capture, upload, and generate a grouped result on the canvas.

• 4-View Capture — captures four evenly distributed views (front, right, back, left) arranged in a 2×2 grid
• 12-View Capture — captures twelve angles across horizontal and vertical rotations arranged in a 4×3 grid

Each captured view is created as an individual image node, with all views automatically grouped together for easy management.

Tips

• Describe the scene with clear foreground, midground, and background relationships
• Specify time of day, weather, lighting direction, and overall atmosphere
• Start from source images with strong spatial cues for more stable results
• Capture a view first, then continue refining it with other image tools
