A strong result is only half the job. You also need a fast way to inspect why it worked, compare its settings, and reuse the useful parts in the next step. The node preview flow is designed for exactly that kind of review.

Open the result without fighting the canvas
As canvases grow, zooming in and out just to inspect one result becomes slower than opening a dedicated preview.
The preview surface is useful when you want to:
- view an image result at a larger size
- inspect video, audio, or text output without moving other nodes around
- review a result before deciding whether it should be saved, reused, or regenerated
Depending on node type, the preview area can also support specialized viewing modes such as panorama or sequence playback.
Read the generation details in one place
The right-side info area is what makes the preview practical for iteration.
From there you can review details such as:
- prompt text
- output size
- model information
- style selection
- lens combo and other generation parameters
This is the fastest way to answer, “Why did this result look different from the others?” without reopening multiple panels.
Reuse what worked
A good preview workflow is not only about checking the result. It is also about turning that result into the next step faster.
The current preview flow helps in a few ways:
- download the media when the output itself should move into another workflow
- copy node info when you need the structured node data for debugging or handoff
- inspect prompt and parameter choices so they can be manually carried into the next node
That makes it easier to reuse a successful combination instead of trying to reconstruct it from memory.
Retry from the same review surface
When a generation fails, the preview area can also surface the error details and offer a retry action. This keeps the review loop short: inspect the failure, understand the issue, and rerun without bouncing through unrelated UI.
A simple review habit
When you get a promising result, open the node preview before moving on. Check the prompt, model, style, and key parameters while the decision is still fresh. That habit makes it much easier to identify repeatable setups and build stronger downstream branches from successful nodes.
